The Jailbreak tool Seas0nPass was updated a while ago by firecore developer and now it supports Apple TV running on iOS 4.4.2. It is said that Apple made a minor update on 4.2.2 for Apple TV 2G. With this update it supports a tethered jailbreak, which means you need to re-jailbreak each time your Apple TV reboots.

This update is not much convenient for Apple TV users as it is a tethered jailbreak but lets expect a better update to be launched since Firecore, the developer of Seas0nPass is working on it. Updating is not necessary because the previous version 4.3 will still be supported according to firecore.
