Their’s a moment when we need to reboot our iPod, for example if it freeze. It is a fact that not all electronic devices are safe with this situation, and with this, rebooting is required to fix.
For iPod Nano users this is really simple process and this will takes within a few mere seconds. For the newest model of iPod Nano still the same process, but maybe different steps but still the same as a whole. Before that take a look at your iPod Nano and make it sure that the Hold switch is turned off.
Steps to Reboot / Reset Your iPod Nano
Step 1. Turn on your Hold switch, after that turn it back to “Off” immediately.
Step 2. Within the top of the iPod Nano’s clickwheel press the “Menu” button using your one finger and then press “Select” button with your another finger as well (Select button is located exactly on the center of the clickwheel, that particular button is also used to choose your songs as well as playlist that you wish to play).
Step 3. As what I’ve stated earlier this is quiet simple process, and now for our final steps, with your fingers hold the buttons for about 8 to 10 seconds or right up until the Apple logo appears on your iPod nano screen. (if everything runs smoothly and the logo of Apple shows up on your device, then it is ready to use again).
If in case doing the steps above doesn’t work on your iPod nano, have a try on this;
- Connect it to your computer with the use of your iPod nano cable and of course make it sure that your computer is on and not on sleep mode and then try to reboot again.
If doing the steps provided above again not working, then this is the best time to contact Apple Support.
